About No Limits Soccer

I have been coaching and training soccer players since my 34 year old son was a little boy. I began playing soccer at the age of 3 and played club ball into my mid 40’s. My coaching and training career has been fascinating and has taken me around the world.

In the early 1990’s, I was hired to coach at Lincoln Way High School when there was only one school and an East campus. I coached all levels of Boys soccer there including a Super Sectional finish as the Varsity coach in 1993. In the summer of 1993 Loran Nordgren of Frankfort and I organized a trip to Ireland for three soccer teams. We played up and down the west coast of Ireland for 2 weeks and will always have a lifetime of memories. In 1999 No Limits organized a trip to play in the Haarlem Cup in the Netherlands. Myself and six of our trainers took seven teams over for that amazing trip. In the year 2000 I was fortunate enough to be able to coach an Under 24 Men’s team that competed first in Auckland, New Zealand and went on to also play in Canberra, NSW Australia.

Our organization, No Limits Soccer has trained thousands of players across Illinois and also in Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio in the last twenty years. We have trained teams and clubs from most of the south suburbs with great success. I personally cannot even begin to estimate the number of games that I have coached during my career as a coach. All of this depended on my guiding rule for teaching young people. I require all of our trainers and coaches including myself to treat the players we train as human beings, with respect and the attention they deserve.
